Basic Forum Rules

Respect

Be respectful to all members. Please don't call them bad names, harass them, be violent or talk about 'mature' things (sex, you know, that stuff). Please don't make this place an unpleasant place for others.

Don't argue with the Admin or Mods.

Don't ask others for personal info, and don't give out your own either. If anyone asks for your address, phone number, age or any other personal information, ignore them and report them to a moderator. Should anyone start to try and pry it out of you, you should report it at once without delay. If you are caught doing this, you will be banned.

Please make this forum experience pleasant for others.

There is spam in several different forms. A) Pathetically small posts. B) Gibberish and complete nonsense C) Random and off topic speak Don't spam... unless it's in the spam board. Limit all your spam to the Random/Spam board please. It's there for a reason.

Please avoid touchy subjects such as Religion and Animal Abuse -- especially in the Debates board.

Do not flame others. This often ends up as a war, and of course, you will always find people you don't like, here or somewhere else on earth. If you do start flaming or attacking others, then you'll end up banned.

We have some policies on swearing, we allow SOME curses, but not bad ones. Nothing worse than Dammit, hell, damn and such. Anything worse than those and you've earned yourself first a warning, and if it is continued, followed up by a ban. You also MAY NOT swear at others.

Read the rules of the pack or Clowder before you enter your character in.

Important News and Moonfrost News and the entire announcement boards are for ADMIN AND GLOBAL MOD ONLY If you do post there, your post will be immediately deleted and you will be warned.

Also, please don't bump OLD THREADS. Doing so will result to a verbal warning, and if done frequently, warning meter.

We reserve every right to remove any offensive or useless posts or threads you create; with or without advanced warning.

ABSOLUTELY DO NOT post random junk or send spam or unimportant PMs to mods or others because that is VERY annoying for the moderators, since we are all extremely busy we do not wish to be annoyed to death by others PMing us random junk or having to waste time deleting that stuff. Leave it to the spam board please, and don't go overboard there either. Remember no bumping unless it has fallen back to the second page, or almost, and no bumping unless someone else posted before you. Also remember not to double-post please.

Your account will be deleted if you have three-month inactivity without ANY notice. However, if you must leave for vacation, please tell us in advance in the Packing Up board with when you are leaving and returning.

Please do not do double-posts. (Excluding Bumps)

Your signature size may be only 350 pixels high at max, and 800 pixels long.

Avatar size may be no more than 150 X 150

Roleplay

You may not make a character and start roleplaying with it until you have made a character profile in the Character Profile section.

On your first RP post, please include your character's profile link.

Please use brackets, or OOC: when you use out-of-character speak. It gets very annoying, confusing and irritating for others when you don't.

No more than fifteen characters are allowed. Any more and you have too much trouble keeping them active.

We ask you to please skip mating scenes, and just skip to the pregnancy. Birthing roleplays ARE allowed, but if you are going to include some gore, please put a warning on the title. This goes for any gore or mature posts -- put a warning in the title, in case there are some younger children on, or passing by the computer.

You can't post in a Clowder/Pack without being accepted by one of the ranked characters in the Clowder/Pack first. Afterwards, you are free to post roleplays in the Clowder/Pack.

During RP you may not permanently scar or cripple any characters without permission of the player who is RP fighting with your char. Also you may not kill them without permission. However, wounding, biting and scratching is fine. See Fight Guide for more info.

NO REPLYING CHARACTER PROFILES!!! Replying them will result to you getting ten percent in your warning metre. On the old site, this was not a problem until many of the users start posting too much after the profiles, resulting that the character profiles were turned into spam bins. If you have something to say, say it over PM. Mods MAY reply if they find the post has something wrong with it, but afterward they are responsible for deleting all the excess posts.

No cats or dogs or any animal may have powers or be odd colours. Unique eye colours are fine, but not pelt colours.

Your characters may not have super-powers. This is more realistic roleplay, not heroic fantasy.

Please don't drown your roleplays in OOC. If it gets pretty far, then mods may warn you, and we suggest you take it up in PM before moderators have to take it that far.

No godmodding. This means to make your character invincible, a Gary Stu or a Mary Sue. This is very annoying, and who wants to roleplay with a character that never recieves damage, or is impossibly strong? You will receive warning meter if you continuously god-mod.

No powerplay; meaning that you control someone else's character without permission. This can result to warning meter, and it is very irritating for others.

All roleplays MUST be 6-8 sentances to be considered a roleplaying post. In other words, they must be at least a paragraph long, or it is just too difficult to incorperate enough detail in roleplay. If you do not make your post long enough, moderators will lock your post until you do. If you do this too much, we will end up giving you warning meter.

Character Trades -- Moonsilver's Characters. They have their rules. Read them, and follow them.

Art & Literature

Art and Writing Theft... is STRICTLY NOT ALLOWED HERE! Don't steal others' art and credit it as your own, take art without permission or not following the artist's rules, or stealing other's characters and or stealing another's writing and ideas, such as copying someone else's roleplay.

Please watch your spelling. A few misspelled words are okay, but don't push it to the point where we don't know what you're saying. If you can't type properly due to a hand injury or something, then don't type, or give us a warning of grammar or spelling mistakes.

Please make sure your art is PG13. Not everyone here is an adult or older, and some people can be only thirteen. If you have art of nudity, or sex, please make SURE your title warns of maturity, and that it is not so inappropriate that the moderators must delete it. Same goes with gore and violence.

No copying writing, characters, history, personality or art here please. I find nothing no more annoying, and I will give you a permanent ban if you are doing so.
